Smoked Sweet Heat Deviled Eggs

Ingredients:

6 large eggs
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon honey
1/2 teaspoon (fire for effect sweet heat rub)
Salt and pepper to taste
Smoked paprika, for garnish
Fresh chives, finely chopped, for garnish

Instructions:

Hard-boil the eggs by placing them in a pot of cold water, bringing it to a boil, then reducing the heat and simmering for 10 minutes. Transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool.

Once cooled, carefully peel the eggs and halve them lengthwise.

Removed the yolks and set them aside in a mixing bowl.

Prepare the filling:

Mash the egg yolks with a fork until they’re finely crumbled. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, honey, and sweet heat rub to the yolks. Mix until well combined and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Fill the eggs with the filling and top with fresh chives and smoked paprika.
